1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Athlora mobile application, website, subscriptions, and related services.

Athlora is operated by Zdravko Stanin, an independent developer based in Bulgaria.

By creating an account, accessing Athlora, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and the Athlora Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Athlora.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Athlora.

By using Athlora, you confirm that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into these Terms
  • Your use of Athlora is lawful in your country
  • The information you provide is accurate
  • You will use Athlora only for lawful personal or professional fitness purposes

Coach accounts may only be used by adults.

3. Athlora Accounts

Some features require an Athlora account.

You may authenticate through supported methods such as:

  • Email authentication
  • Sign in with Apple
  • Google Sign-In

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining access to your authentication method
  • Protecting your device and linked accounts
  • Keeping account information accurate
  • Activities performed through your account
  • Promptly notifying Athlora of suspected unauthorised access

You may not:

  • Share an account in a way that compromises security
  • Impersonate another person
  • Create accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to access another user’s information
  • Circumvent account, subscription, or Coach-plan restrictions

4. Athlora Services

Athlora provides tools that may include:

  • Exercise and workout tracking
  • Workout routines
  • Planned and recurring workouts
  • Workout history
  • Body measurements
  • Progress photos
  • Training reminders
  • Offline functionality
  • Synchronization between devices
  • Data export
  • Coach and athlete relationships
  • Coach-authored routine or workout assignments
  • Pro and Coach subscription functionality

Features may differ by device, operating system, store, country, subscription, and application version.

5. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

Athlora is a fitness organisation and training tool.

Athlora is not:

  • A medical service
  • A healthcare provider
  • A diagnostic tool
  • A substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian, psychologist, or other qualified professional
  • An emergency service

Information displayed by Athlora is provided for general fitness and organisational purposes.

You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise, workout, routine, goal, or Coach recommendation is appropriate for you.

Before starting or changing an exercise programme, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional, particularly if you:

  • Have a medical condition
  • Are injured
  • Are pregnant
  • Experience pain
  • Take medication affecting exercise
  • Have been advised to limit physical activity
  • Are uncertain whether exercise is safe for you

Stop exercising and seek appropriate assistance if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion, chest discomfort, or another concerning symptom.

In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

You use Athlora and participate in physical activity at your own risk.

6. Coach Features

Athlora may allow users to form Coach-athlete relationships.

Coach functionality may include:

  • Relationship invitations
  • Permission-scoped access to athlete information
  • Routine or workout assignments
  • Optional assignment messages
  • Progress review
  • Subscription-sponsored athlete access
  • Client limits based on Coach subscription tier

An athlete must explicitly accept a relationship or assignment where acceptance is required.

Athletes may revoke Coach permissions or end a relationship through available application controls.

Coach responsibility

A Coach is solely responsible for:

  • Their professional qualifications
  • The accuracy and safety of their advice
  • Programmes and routines they create
  • Complying with applicable professional rules
  • Obtaining any required licences, insurance, or consent
  • Determining whether a programme is suitable for an athlete
  • Their relationship and communications with athletes

Athlora does not guarantee that a Coach is qualified, licensed, insured, or suitable.

Athlora is not a party to independent coaching arrangements between users.

Athlete responsibility

Athletes remain responsible for:

  • Deciding whether to accept an assignment
  • Assessing whether training is suitable
  • Communicating relevant limitations to their Coach
  • Revoking permissions when access is no longer wanted
  • Seeking medical or professional advice when appropriate

Accepted Coach assignments may become independent athlete-owned routines or workouts. Later changes by the Coach do not automatically change the athlete’s accepted copy.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you enter or upload to Athlora, including:

  • Workout information
  • Routines
  • Notes
  • Body measurements
  • Progress photos
  • Coach content
  • Assignment messages

You grant Athlora a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, encrypt, synchronize, reproduce, and display that content only as necessary to:

  • Operate Athlora
  • Synchronize devices
  • Create backups
  • Provide Coach functionality you enable
  • Process exports and deletion
  • Protect the service
  • Comply with law

You confirm that you have the right to upload and use your content.

You must not upload content that:

  • Is unlawful
  • Infringes intellectual-property rights
  • Violates another person’s privacy
  • Contains malicious software
  • Is abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or exploitative
  • Contains illegal sexual or violent content
  • Is intended to harm Athlora or another user

Athlora may restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, or enforce these Terms.

8. Subscriptions and Purchases

Athlora may offer:

  • Athlora Pro monthly subscriptions
  • Athlora Pro annual subscriptions
  • Athlora Pro lifetime purchases
  • Athlora Coach Starter subscriptions
  • Athlora Coach Growth subscriptions
  • Athlora Coach Studio subscriptions
  • Athlora Coach Scale subscriptions
  • Other plans or promotional products shown in the application

Available products may differ between Apple, Google, and other supported testing environments.

Prices, currencies, billing periods, and available plans are displayed by the relevant store and may vary by country.

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not directly by Athlora.

Your purchase is also subject to the applicable store terms.

9. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Certain plans may include a free trial or introductory offer.

Possible offers may include:

  • A seven-day trial for Athlora Pro Annual
  • A one-month trial for eligible Coach Starter Annual users
  • A one-month trial for eligible Coach Growth Annual users

The offer shown by Apple or Google at checkout controls.

Eligibility may depend on:

  • Your country
  • Your store account
  • Your purchase history
  • Previous trial use
  • The platform’s rules
  • Current promotional availability

Athlora does not guarantee that every user will receive a trial.

Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a trial may convert into a paid, automatically renewing subscription at the price displayed by the store.

10. Automatic Renewal

Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing or trial period.

The renewal price and billing period are shown by Apple or Google.

Your store account may be charged within the period specified by the applicable store.

Athlora cannot directly cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription on your behalf.

11. Cancellation

You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

Deleting Athlora or deleting your Athlora account does not automatically cancel a recurring store subscription.

You must separately cancel the subscription through the relevant store.

After cancellation, paid access may continue until the end of the current paid period, subject to store rules.

12. Refunds

Refunds are governed by Apple’s or Google’s applicable refund policies and mandatory consumer law.

Athlora generally cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple or Google.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund or consumer right provided by applicable law.

13. Lifetime Purchases

A lifetime purchase provides the applicable Athlora entitlement without recurring billing.

Lifetime access:

  • Is associated with the purchasing account
  • Is generally non-transferable between Athlora accounts
  • May be restored through the original supported store account
  • Remains subject to these Terms
  • Depends on the continued availability of Athlora and the relevant platform

A lifetime purchase does not guarantee that every future feature, separate product, third-party service, or unrelated service will be included.

14. Subscription Changes

Athlora may introduce, modify, or discontinue plans, features, prices, or limits.

Changes to recurring subscription prices are applied prospectively and are subject to store notice and applicable law.

Material changes will not remove rights that have already accrued under mandatory consumer law.

Coach client limits, sponsored-access rules, and included functionality may depend on the plan displayed at the time of purchase.

15. Restore Purchases

Athlora provides a Restore Purchases function where supported.

Restoration depends on:

  • The store account used for the original purchase
  • The Athlora account associated with the purchase
  • Apple or Google records
  • RevenueCat entitlement information
  • Athlora’s purchase-ownership rules

Restoring a purchase does not transfer ownership between unrelated Athlora accounts.

16. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Attempt to access another account
  • Circumvent subscription or capacity limits
  • Reverse engineer Athlora except where expressly permitted by law
  • Interfere with synchronization, authentication, purchases, or security
  • Introduce malware or harmful code
  • Scrape or extract information through automated means
  • Use Athlora to harass, exploit, deceive, or harm another person
  • Use Coach access beyond the athlete’s permission
  • Attempt to identify another user through internal identifiers
  • Abuse support, deletion, export, or restoration systems
  • Use Athlora in violation of law

17. Intellectual Property

Athlora, including its application code, visual design, branding, text, graphics, product structure, and non-user content, is owned by or licensed to the operator of Athlora.

These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Athlora for its intended purpose.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

“Apple,” “App Store,” “Google,” “Google Play,” and other third-party names belong to their respective owners.

18. Third-Party Services

Athlora relies on third-party services, including services provided by:

  • Apple
  • Google
  • Supabase
  • PowerSync
  • RevenueCat
  • Vercel

Third-party services may be unavailable, changed, or discontinued independently of Athlora.

Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Athlora is not responsible for third-party services to the extent that responsibility cannot legally be attributed to Athlora.

19. Offline Use and Synchronization

Athlora may store information locally and synchronize it when connectivity becomes available.

Offline changes may not immediately appear on another device.

Network failures, device termination, authentication problems, platform outages, or third-party service issues may delay synchronization.

You should verify that important data has synchronized before deleting an application installation, resetting a device, or permanently losing access to the device.

20. Service Availability

Athlora may occasionally be unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Network problems
  • Store outages
  • Infrastructure failures
  • Security incidents
  • Events outside reasonable control

Athlora does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Features may evolve, be replaced, or be discontinued.

Where reasonably possible, Athlora will avoid materially disrupting active paid access without notice.

21. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Athlora at any time.

You may delete your account through the application or request deletion through the Athlora website.

Athlora may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • A serious or repeated breach of these Terms
  • Fraud
  • Security risk
  • Illegal activity
  • Abuse of another user
  • Misuse of Coach access
  • A valid legal requirement
  • Conduct threatening the service or its users

Where appropriate and legally required, Athlora will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Termination does not automatically cancel store subscriptions.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athlora is provided on an “as available” basis.

Athlora does not warrant that:

  • The service will always be available
  • Every feature will be error-free
  • Every calculation or synchronization will be perfect
  • Fitness information is medically appropriate
  • A Coach is qualified or suitable
  • A workout will produce a particular result
  • Data will never be lost despite reasonable safeguards

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athlora and its operator are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from:

  • Improper use of Athlora
  • Exercise or physical activity
  • Independent Coach advice
  • Failure to seek professional advice
  • User-entered errors
  • Loss of device access
  • Third-party outages
  • Unsynchronized offline changes
  • Unauthorised access caused by failure to protect an account or device

Athlora does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.

24. Privacy

Use of Athlora is also governed by the Athlora Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, processed, shared, retained, exported, and deleted.

25. Changes to These Terms

Athlora may update these Terms to reflect:

  • New functionality
  • Legal requirements
  • Security changes
  • Subscription changes
  • Service-provider changes
  • Changes to the Athlora business model

The updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last updated” date.

Where required by law, Athlora will provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance.

Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria.

Disputes are subject to the competent Bulgarian courts, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.

EU and EEA consumers retain all mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence.

No mandatory consumer right is waived by these Terms.

27. Severability

If part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced only to the minimum extent necessary under applicable law.
